Rachel Hodes

Having worked at a startup from the ground up for the past 3.5 years, I have quite the array of professional experiences under my belt. Unfortunately, due to COVID, most of my team was let go in March because of how significantly our business was hit by the economic downturn.

Since then, I have started my own consulting collective with other future business leaders and I'm currently doing a myriad of marketing consulting and freelancing, which is wonderfully liberating and challenging. My goal by the end of the year is to, once again, be a full-time employee at a cutting edge startup, particularly in the marketing department.

My goal in five years is to be running that department. And my goal in ten years is to be running my own company. And while I am very much professionally driven, I would argue that my larger purpose in life is to give back to the community.

I'm passionate about helping others, so it's really important that the work I'm doing is contributing to the greater good in one way or another.
