Introduction

Hi everyone! Super excited to be a part of this community :)

Currently, I'm the founder of Elm, a sourcing platform that helps tech companies find engineers faster.

My life path makes zero rational sense because I love working on things that make me at least 80% uncomfortable with how hard they are. That philosophy has led me to:

-Being a high school history teacher with Teach for America-Starting a non-profit to help low-income high school students start small businesses and scaling it to 50K students.-Being a data analyst at Google and developing algorithms to find diverse engineers.-Being a product manager at Blend (a mortgage software company).

I believe that almost every single person has 1 central question they are trying to answer in life and I love helping people build a path towards answering that.

Gives

  1. Happy to help people who are thinking about transitioning into product management or becoming a founder. I spent 5+ years working with founders at the non-profit I started and I've gone from education into PM.
  2. I just went through the process of vetting 100+ ideas. If you want someone who can ask tough questions and push you to think about your startup idea, I love doing this!

Asks

  1. I love nerding out on something that someone else is passionate about. The favorite part of my week is meeting someone who is obsessively passionate about a topic I know nothing about and they just teach me everything they know in an hour.
