Canvas Medical is looking for a Head of Marketing to join our team. As Head of Marketing, you will work with our VP of Sales & Marketing, as well as other members of the organization to define and execute Canvas’s strategic marketing roadmap. You will own the development and execution of company-wide marketing strategies and activities, including but not limited to: brand marketing, product marketing, lead generation, social media marketing & content marketing.
Our ideal candidate is a leader and a doer, who can roll up their sleeves and make things happen. This is an opportunity to have direct, hands-on impact on the growth and expansion of Canvas Medical, as well as an opportunity to build and lead a marketing team over the long-term.
What you'll be doing:
- Own, develop and execute Canvas branding initiatives to grow further awareness and understanding of our product to prospects and current customers - Manage internal and external PR and communications, forming relationships with key players in the health technology space - Create and execute strategic marketing plans that will help us achieve both our short and long-term goals - Manage and execute the content strategy through all digital and social media channels, working closely with our Technical Writer to reach our target audiences - Drive the marketing and sales funnel through organic and paid demand generation strategies, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and other initiatives - Product marketing, including go-to-market strategy for new features and product announcements - Lead strategy and optimization of conversion funnels and performance across all marketing channels - Support Sales in planning and executing account-based marketing campaigns
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of marketing experience, ideally within the B2B or B2D SaaS technology sector with a focus on digital marketing and lead generation - Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive to get things done - Strong organization and project management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience owning both the strategy and execution of the marketing function - Product marketing experience with strong content marketing skills - Prior experience with an early-stage startup environment in SaaS, Healthcare, or Health Technology strongly preferred - A collaborative approach in working with internal stakeholders (sales, engineering, and leadership) to develop & execute effective marketing tools and campaigns - A sense of urgency in how you operate - You can roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to produce results - Experience working with content management systems such as Webflow - Experience developing compelling marketing collateral - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field, preferred
